Manila, Philippines – On Sunday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency arrested 11 males including professionals like doctor and an engineer during
a sexual orgy-cum-illegal drugs session in a buy-bust operation.
The agents of PDEA nabbed the men in an upscale hotel in Bonifacio
Global City (BGC), Taguig.
Reports said they were only wearing underwear and in the
middle of a drug session when the agents entered the Unit 609 of Seda Hotel on
11th Avenue, BGC at around 10 in the morning last Sunday.
PDEA said that during the operation they caught nine of the
suspects taking the party drug GBL or so called gamma-Butyrolactone and also
known as ‘liquid ecstacy’, is a synthetic substance that increases sexual drive
and it can also bring euphoria to the user.
According to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, they were
operating to supposedly arrest the model Edmond Remegio, and model-singer Pedrito
Coronel Jr. also known as Malik, who were both arrested during the operation.
The two were allegedly supplying party drugs to bar-goers and some celebrities
in BGC.
Among the arrested suspects were professionals, the one
identified as Carlo Kasala, 25-year-old physician, and Jose Carlo Torres, a
38-year-old engineer.
Aside from the mentioned names, PDEA will also charge the
following individuals with alleged violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous
Drugs Act; Bryan Dizon, 20, a Software Developer; Jevel Ucero, 22, a Student;
Aclan Manalo, 27, Makeup artist; Legui Brylle Gonzles, 28, an Account Manager;
Angelo Padasas, 28, an Office Staff; and Jake Tolentino, 33, and Manuel Valdes,
34, both insurance personnel
The agents of PDEA seized a worth of P387 illegal drugs
during the said operation, which includes tablets of ecstasy, also two sachets
of suspected shabu, bottles of GBL and drug paraphernalia.
