Senatorial candidate, former Special Assistant to the
President Christopher “Bong” Go dares alleged narco-politicians to show
proof of their innocence.
The statement of Go came after the release of the names of
at least 46 local government officials who are allegedly involved in illegal drug
trade.
“Kung iginigiit naman ninyong wala kayo talagang
kinalaman sa ilegal na droga, magbigay kayo ng sapat na ebidensiya para malinis
ang inyong pangalan at mawala ang pagdududa sa inyo ng taong bayan.” The former
SAP said
Go also warned those who are linked to illegal drugs to stay
away from him as he will not tolerate such.
“Kung meron man pong mga politiko na sangkot sa droga, mas
mabuti po layuan niyo na lang ako. Pag nalaman ko po na meron kayong kinalaman
sa ilegal na droga, pasensyahan tayo- ako na mismo ang magrereport sa inyo sa
mga awtoridad.” He stressed
Go said that if given a chance to serve the people as a
Senator, he would help to further strengthen the strategy of the government to
fight the illegal drugs in the country.
