Manila, Philippines - President Rodrigo Duterte thinks that former
Solicitor General Florin Hilbay should be blamed for the damages that
government has shouldered and still paying until now due to unfulfilled contracts.
During a campaign sortie last April 17, the Chief Executive
claimed that Hilbay never won a case when he was still in the position.
“Ito si Florin Hilbay. Solicitor general. Wala namang
ipinanalo. Nanalo ba tayo sa kaso natin? Karami nating bayad, totoo lang
ngayon. Hindi akin, previous administration mga damages, mga kontrata because
we were known then as a country who does not honor contractual obligations,” he
said
“Marami tayong binabayaran ngayon. Ang ating abugado si
Florin Hilbay. At lalaki naman sana bakit gay pangalan, Florin. Kaya kung
makita mo ito maintindihan mo. Kasi ‘yung pangalan talaga niya… Hoy Florin,
kasama mo palagi si Agot Isidro. Kayo na ba? Bayot itong buang na ‘to. Kaya
‘yan ilagay mo anong — anong silbi nitong g***** ‘to?” he added
Hilbay, one of the running senators under Otso Diretso has
recently admitted that he is in a relationship with actress Agot Isidro.
Earlier, Hilbay slammed the president for calling him gay.
"Hindi ako na-inform na suma-sideline pala siyang
chismoso sa kanto. Daming free time, ser?" the former Solicitor
General said in a tweet.
