(L-R) Senator Panfilo Lacson and President Rodrigo Duterte (ctto) |
“It's bad enough that we're weak but don't advertise that
we're weak. Magtira ka naman ng konting baraha. (Leave some cards),” Ani
mangingisda kahit saang angulo tingnan.
“We strongly urge the Department of Foreign Affairs to
demand from the Chinese government to find those responsible and recognize
Philippine jurisdiction, so they can face trial before our courts,” aniya
“This is the time where we expect our leaders to be true to
their oath and speak, act, and do what is needed to defend the dignity of our
nation, and every Filipino,” giit ni Robredo

Lacson is AGAIN shooting from the hip. He thinks that the Chinese don't know we are a weak nation. WRONG. The whole world knows we are a weak nation. And we don't have any cards to bluff our way out. The best thing for Lacson to do is to keep his mouth shut and try to show the world that we are not a fragmented society. Let the president do his job because at the end of the day, he will be the one blamed for his failures. But he will also receive his rewards if he succeeds in bringing out the PHL out of rut the it is in.
