Vice President Leni Robredo hits back at former Senator
Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos who said he was "robbed" of his
supposed 6-year-term as vice president.
"Parang nakakatawa naman na siya nagsasabi nun. Hindi
ata ako yung may ugaling mag-rob. Lahat ng na-achieve ko pinagpaguran ko, wala
akong fake diplomas. Hindi ako naglalabas ng fake news," Robredo was
quoted telling the reporters.
“Parang
dapat... hindi niya kaya iyon sabihin kasi between the two of us, alam ko hindi
ako iyong robber,” she said
Marcos, on Tuesday, said that he feels robbed by Robredo
because she has been in the office for three years.
“By conducting the cheating in the election, they robbed the
proper Vice-President who won the election, myself, from the three years of
service,” he said.
The Supreme Court, sitting as the Presidential Electoral
Tribunal (PET) in the ongoing electoral protest had deferred the ruling on
Marcos' electoral protest against Robredo.
In a report by Philstar, Brian Keith Hosaka, Supreme Court
spokesperson, said "the Tribunal has decided to release to the
parties the report on the revision and appreciation of ballots in the three
pilot provinces, and for them to comment thereon."
Marcos’ moved to void results in three provinces in the
Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao due to “massive fraud” was
heavily criticized by Robredo.
"Parang ang sinasabi niya ngayon wala akong
substantial recovery doon sa tatlo pero pwede bang isama itong another
three (provinces)?" She said.
